Dr. Jeremy Koenig is originally from Tipp City, Ohio, and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. He is excited to begin the next chapter of his career in North Carolina as part of the Southern Oaks Animal Hospital team.

Dr. Koenig has a strong interest in both small and large animal medicine and enjoys the variety and challenges that come with caring for different species. He is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care and looks forward to building relationships with clients while helping their animals thrive.

When he’s not at the hospital, Dr. Koenig enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Brookhouse, and their pets. They have two dogs: Nora and Ivy and a cat: charlie. who keep life entertaining at home. In his free time, he can often be found exploring hiking trails, playing pickleball, or cheering on his favorite football teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
