Courtney is a North Carolina native who has been working in veterinary medicine since 1995. She began her career in patient care before moving into surgery in 2000. In 2007, she transitioned to human medicine as an EKG technician. In 2011, she returned to her passion for veterinary medicine and has been a valued member of the Southern Oaks Animal Hospital team ever since.
At home, Courtney has a Labrador Retriever, Tucker and two quarter horses, Goose and Raven. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, spending time outdoors, and trail riding with her horse.
What Courtney loves most about Southern Oaks is the family atmosphere among her coworkers and the lasting relationships she has built with clients over the years. With decades of experience, she is dedicated to providing compassionate care and treating every patient like family.

Karly

Karly is a a valued member of the Southern Oaks Animal Hospital team, whose journey in veterinary medicine began thanks to encouragement from a longtime friend and coworker , Chasity. Starting in the kennel, Karly quickly discovered her passion for animal care and client service. Over the years, she has held several roles within the poaracti8ce, including kennel assistant, receptionist, and exam room assistant, gaining experience in  many aspects of veterinary medicine. Today, she serves as our lead receptionist while also assisting with exam room duties and pharmacy support.  
Karly's favorite part pf veterinary medicine is caring for pets and continuing to learn about new advances in small animal health and treatment. She enjoys building relationships with clients and helping ensure that every pet receives the best possible care.
At home, Karly shares her life with her husband Jon, and her son Brayden. She is also a devoted cat lover and has 6 feline companions: Earl, Hank, Nibbler, Sammy, Smokey, and Big Back Boogie, ranging in age from 4 to 9 YO.
Outside of work Karly enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on Brayden in his go-Kart racing activities. She believes life is short and values making memories with the people she loves most.
Karly describes herself as a loving and caring individual who enjoys helping both people and pets. What she loves most about Southern Oaks is the family-oriented atmosphere, the teamwork among staff members, and the genuine care everyone shows for one another. 
We are grateful to have Karly as part of the Southern Oaks family, and our clients appreciate the warmth, compassion , and dedication she brings to every interaction.
                                                                        Kelly

Kelly has called North Carolina home for several years after relocating here for a change of environments. She is a proud mother a grown son and grandmother to a year old grandson. Family is at the heart of everything she does.
Kelly has been part of the Southern Oaks Animal Hospital team for approximately five years. As a receptionist, she enjoys welcoming clients and helping make both pets and their owners feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. She has a special talent for calming anxious clients during stressful situations, a skill she considers one of her greatest strengths.
At home, Kelly shares her life with a lovable English Bulldog, Winston, Daphne, a mixed breed and her three calico cats—Ginger, Stella, and Hazel—who keep her entertained and remind her why she loves working with animals.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with animals and helping others whenever she can. What she loves most about Southern Oaks Animal Hospital is the family atmosphere and the caring team she gets to work alongside each day. She is committed to making every visit as welcoming and reassuring as possible for both pets and their families.


                                                                                               Allison

Allison is from Southern California. She began her career in veterinary medicine at Southern Oaks Animal Hospital in 2020, joining the team as a receptionist. Since then, she has continued to grow in her role while building strong relationships with clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys reading, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and video games on both console and PC. She and her husband share their home with a unique family of pets, including a Pueblan Milk Snake, Apricot (“Anko”), and 3 cats: Ezio, a Balinese; Nico, a medium hair tabby; and Traya, a domestic short hair .
What Allison loves most about Southern Oaks is the hospital’s reputation for exceptional care and the lasting relationships the team has built with clients, especially the regulars she has come to know over the years. She enjoys helping make each visit a positive experience for both pets and their families



REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS


Chassidy

Chassidy is a Registered Veterinary Technician with more than 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She began her career in kennel care, advanced to veterinary assistant, and earned her RVT license in 2013. She is currently pursuing certification in veterinary rehabilitation and has special interests in rehabilitation therapy, internal medicine, and large animal medicine. 
Chassidy and her husband, Stoney, have a 4 YO daughter, Emerson. Their family includes Beauford, an Arabian horse, Remi, a Border Collie mix, and Rutter, a Jack Russell-Dachshund mix. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, spending time with family, and scuba diving.
At Southern Oaks Animal Hospital, Chassidy sees technician appointments, including vaccine visits and rechecks, and provides physical therapy services such as laser therapy, and underwater treadmill therapy, and other therapeutic modalities designed to improve mobility and quality of life for patients. She enjoys working in a supportive environment where she can continue to learn and grow professionally.
Chassidy is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys building lasting relationships with both her patients and their owners.

Samantha (Sam), a Fayetteville, North Carolina native, has worked in veterinary medicine since 2007. From kennel to ,lead veterinary assistant Sam has extensive experience in the many skills needed to provide the best care for your pet.
she joined Southern Oaks Animal Hospital 5 years ago and is now a valued team member. Her professional interests included emergency medicine, trauma care, and critical care, where she enjoys helping patients through challenging situations.
At home, Sam lives with her 3 dogs: a 9 YO chihuahua, a 4 YO French Bulldog named Letty, and a 2 YO French Bulldog named Bryce. She also loves spending time at home with her 7 children.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, creating art, and traveling. Known for her approachable nature and genuine love for animal and their owners, Sam believes every pet deserves compassionate and attenti8ve care. She strives to ensure every client and patient feels comfortable and supported. Her dedication to patient care and ability to0 connect with people make her an important part of the Southern Oaks family

Victoria

Picture
Victoria is from Wisconsin , where much of her family still lives. She is the proud mother of one daughter, Camile, and a stepdaughter, Aria.
Victoria has dedicated her career to Veterinary medicine, starting in treatment and hospital care before earning her surgical technician degree and moving into surgery. She enjoys providing compassionate patient care and supporting surgical procedures. 
At home she shares life with Rhea, a Pomeranian-Yorkshire Terrier mix, Luna, a Beagle mix, and Mikey her one-eyes rescue cat. All of them keep her entertained and on her toes.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with he family. What she loves most about Southern Oaks Animal Hospital is the supportive team atmosphere and the relationships she builds with clients and their pets. She strives to make every visit a positive experience for both pets and their families. 

 Brianna
Picture
Born and raised in North Carolina, Brianna has been working in veterinary medicine since 2014. She began her career in the kennel before quickly discovering her passion for surgery, where she has spent the majority of her career. In 2025, she earned her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license, further expanding her skills and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. She especially enjoys surgery and has a growing interest in rehabilitation and equine medicine.
At home, Brianna and her husband, Shane, share their lives with three dogs: an 11 YO Pit Bull, Thor, a 10 YO Australian Shepherd, Renly and an almost 5 YO Boxer, Nova. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys raising chickens, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
What Brianna loves most about Southern Oaks Animal Hospital is the family atmosphere. She is passionate about providing compassionate care and is dedicated to treating every patient with the same kindness and attention she would give her own pets
